Vietnam visa for Brazilian nationals

After the diplomatic relationship between Vietnamand Brazil  has been established on May 8th, 1989. Vietnamopened its Consulate General in Sao Paolo (January, 1998) and upgraded to the level of Embassy (August, 2000). Vietnam visa policy for Brazilian citizens becomes easier, of course it is also applied for all Brazilian nationals throughout the world once they holding Brazilian passports.

Application process of Vietnam visa for Brazilian nationals can be done by two options:

1/Getting visa at the nearest Vietnam embassies

For those living in the areas withVietnamembassies, the best way of visa application is to apply directly for visa  or by post  to the nearest Vietnam Embassies.

-          Issuing unit:VietnamEmbassy

-          Processing time: at least 5 – working days

-          Required documents: A passport with the validity of six months at least, photos, visa application form. If passports include children, applicants must take them to the embassies for application of visa.

-           Vietnam visa fee at the embassy must be paid once in advance.

2/Getting Vietnam visa on arrival (pick up visa at the Vietnam international airports).

-           Go to the site to be instructed to apply  for Vietnam Visa on arrival (visa to pick up atVietnam airport).

-           Receive Vietnam visa approval letter after two – working days

-           Print the approval letter out because it is the most important document along with passport, photos to help applicants get visa stamp at the airports.

-           Visa on arrival fee will save applicants at least 20% over getting a visa at embassy because there will be no consulate fee, no transportation fee to visit an embassy and there will be no postage fee as everything is done over email.   However, visa on arrival fee divided into service fee for getting approval letter and stamping fee paid at the airports for obtain visa stamp.

Kinds of visa:

There are some kinds of visa Brazilian nationals can sumit: one month (single entry/ multiple entries) and three months (single entry/ multiple entries). For applicants plan to enter Vietnam once, can apply single entry visa, but for whom must enter or exit Vietnam several times during the validity of visa, the best for them is applying for a multiple entry visa.
